Susan Maureen Sushnyk (nee Frolander) of Vancouver died peacefully on August 31st, 2022, at the age of 76.

She was my mom, but everybody called her that, because she gave her love without judgment to anyone who needed it. A fiercely loyal and passionate person, she stood and fought for her friends and her beliefs, and worked hard to take care of her loved ones through thick and thin.

Mom was predeceased by her parents Harry and Christine (nee Barret) Frolander, and brother Gary. She will be warmly remembered by her children, Roberta and Christopher Sushnyk, Pat Wilson, and sister Anne McDonald, as well as friends, family, and a small army of cats and dogs.

In lieu of flowers, she would like you to take your coffee or tea outside in the morning and feel the sun on your skin, and maybe donate to a local animal shelter.

A celebration of life will be held in April.
