Judy was born in New Westminster, BC and raised in Burnaby, BC.
She completed her short journey with cancer and found peace on June 6, 2023. She is now in the company of her mom and dad, Ina and Sel Cox, her son Michael, and her “partner in crime” Ed Chandler, forever together in our hearts.
Judy’s smile and laugh lit up a room, and she was often seen and heard at one of her favourite places, Burnaby Fraser Foreshore Park. There, she would spend hours playing crib with her son, Stephen, drinking coffee, and watching the Fraser River and the bald eagles.
She is missed by her son Stephen (Pam), daughter Kelly (Ted), three granddaughters Deborah, Jessica, and Crysta, her siblings Dennis, Rick, and Alana, and many friends.
The many facets of Judy’s life included being a daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She also enjoyed being a trusted colleague, collecting elephants, and sunbathing on a hot summer day.

I didn’t know that you passed away until today March 6, 2024. I thought you were gonna live forever. We were going to touch base in 10 years and see where we were at and if we were both at a place where we needed someone we would be there for each other. Now I have learned that you have already passed and I will never see you again you are the best friend anyone could ever have. I am going to miss you so very much. I know you’re in the arms of the angels and that makes me a happy. But I’m gonna miss you so much. Rest in peace Robina❤️.
