Roberto Gonzalez aka, Bob, Bobby and Speedy Gonzalez
Born January 3, 1973 to parents Salvador and Irma Gonzalez in Guadalajara, Mexico and immigrated to Canada at the young age of 3. Roberto grew up in Kitimat, BC then moved to New Westminster BC where he remained until his passing.
He is a father to two, Robert David Dunlop and Lolita Elwood.
Roberto loved his children and family. He loved playing Fútbol (soccer) and was a very fast, skilled player. His favorite sports teams included México Mens National team (soccer), the Dallas Cowboys and the Vancouver Canucks. Roberto was a true genuine man. He was very kind hearted, giving, always giving, loving, fun and protected his family like no other. He would light the room with his presence and big smile.
Our family will hold a Celebration of Life for our son, brother, uncle and cousin at a later date, in Kitimat, BC.
~ I can never deny the pain that I carry, but I would like us to remember him as a blessing and a lesson. I want to treasure the life he shared with us over the pain that his death has brought us. Rest in eternal peace dear brother. You will live on forever in our hearts.
