Write a Tribute

(1959 - 2024)

White Rock, B.C.

Our dear Michael passed away on August 24, 2024 so we take this moment to celebrate his zest for life.

He was a gentle giant with a booming voice. His love for his family and friends was easy and unconditional.

Michael was a dedicated fan of the NFL and the Montreal Canadiens. He looked forward to his annual golf trip with his buddies -  the scores never mattered, it was the comradery he valued.

Although Michael was not blessed with the best musical talents, he would accompany his favorites - Bono, REM and Bruce Springsteen like he was a member of the band.

Michael was a terrific and sometimes experimental cook. He concentrated on preparing complicated dishes meant to impress and nourish his dinner guests.

Michael's joy for life will live on in his wife Deb, his stepchildren - Stephen and Sarah, his sisters - Laurie (Pickles) and Jo-Anne (Morris), their families, his cousins and his friends.

Swift travels Michael - we all love you.

Michael came into this world 66 years ago. A true friend, always ready to share his knowledge of current affairs, carefully thought out opinions, and guidance. He had honour embedded in his heart, and a sophisticated kindness led by compassion and wisdom.
He loved and appreciated his family and friends. The world needs beautiful people like Michael to show us the way.
You are missed every day, Cousin.

In loving memory of a wonderful leader, whose kindness and friendliness touched us all. His warm smile and graceful presence and compassion left a lasting mark on everyone he met. I will always cherish the joy he brought to the workplace, and his grace will be remembered forever.
