It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Marcel Bryan Fifield on August 1st, 2023 in Cloverdale, British Columbia.

Marcel came into this world on November 26th, 1970, in Ottawa Ontario, born to Suzanne Fifield and Bryan Phinney. Marcel was always full of wonder and a little bit of mischief. He spent most of his childhood in Didsbury, Alberta, alongside his siblings, Jason, Cory, and Nova. Marcel found his way to British Columbia in his adult years where he was blessed with four children, Kyle, Alyssa, Joseph, and William, as well as his grandson, Little William. He took the kids on many adventures and loved them dearly.

Marcel spent his working days running heavy machinery. He loved cooking, and feeding people always brought him joy. He had a passion for music, it was always blaring, and passed that love onto his children, and grandchild. He was always tinkering, whether he was taking apart his brothers Gi Joe Tank, or a ghetto blaster in his childhood, to cars when he was an adult. He always had a curiosity of what was inside, how it worked, if he could fix it, and if he could get it back together again. Marcel had his share of struggles through his life, but he found solace in his faith and love for his children. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his big smile, and larger than life laugh. 

You can be at peace now, we will watch you live on through your children, we love you Marcel. 

Marcel was loved and predeceased by his father Bryan Phinney, Candace Workhoven (mother to Kyle and Alyssa), his Grandfather Marcel Rivest, Grandmother Germaine Rivest.

Marcel is loved and survived by his children Kyle Fifield, Alyssa Fifield, Joseph Walker, William Fifield, Grandson William Fifield, Mother Suzanne Fifield, Brothers Jason Fifield (Sherry), Cory Fifield (Tara), Sister Nova Bouchard (Eric), Niece and nephews and many extended family and friends. 

A small memorial will be held with his immediate family, but we know many will be there in heart.
