Our hearts ache with sadness and loss of our beloved sister, daughter and aunt, Lisa Chong-Kwan, aged 67, whom passed away from pneumonia on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Surrey Memorial.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, her start to life was a difficult road which continued until her passing. She was a beautiful soul, who’s love for music, food, going out, and spending time with family were the things she enjoyed the most. Her will and strength to pull through from all the hardships she experienced was truly amazing. We all hope that she is now at peace and surrounded by loved ones who have left us, especially our mother who passed away a year ago, and was very close to Lisa.
The memory of Lisa will always be with us, especially that smile of hers that lit up her eyes.
You will never be forgotten.

We won’t forget sweet Lisa. She hardly ever got a break, and yet she brightened many a day in our lives
with her warm smile and had a special way of saying ‘How are you ?´ when greeting a friend or relative.
Her love of music and songs means she is now probably singing somewhere.
Our heartfelt condolences to Laval, Karen and Aimée who were an example of resilience in their total
support of Lisa throughout (let us not forget Marlene who was a remarkable mom in very trying
circumstances).
André and family.
