Danny passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025 at Carelife in Fleetwood, Surrey

Born on June 25, 1929 in St. Boniface, Manitoba

Danny left home young to make his mark on the world, and it led him to the Forestry Industry, which he loved.  Right up until his passing, he spoke of his work as a road builder and heavy-duty mechanic. 

He was married to Gerda for 55 years and they took great pleasure in travelling by car all over the United States and Canada.  After Gerda passed in 2008, he focused on his children and grandchildren.  He loved chess and card games.  He was a kind and gentle man and was deeply loved and will be missed.

Danny is survived by his daughter Maddie Chubak and granddaughter Jill Pottinger.
