It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of John Neville Middleton "Nev" in the early hours of December 24th 2024 at the age of 89 yrs.  He was born in Vancouver and grew up in North Burnaby.

Nev is survived by his wife Tish of 49 yrs, his brother Frank Middleton, his sisters- in-law Tracy Thomas and Trudy Bereska, as well as his many nieces & nephews.

Nev was a Navy Veteran.  He entered the Canadian Navy at the early age of 19 and courageously served for five years. At the time of his passing, he had been retired from the Canada Post for 32 years.

Nev was a huge Sports Fan! Soccer was his game and that's where you would find him, on the soccer field when he was healthy and able.

The final year of Nev's life was a struggle in his battle with cancer. He fought valiantly and with unwavering determination. His final three days, were those of pain and suffering until he finally found eternal rest and peace.

Rest in Peace Nev.  You will be lovingly remembered and missed
