On August 30th, 2022, Jeff Redman passed away in hospice care in the beautiful late afternoon sunshine, after a 5 month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by all of his closest loved ones, who held his hands in his last moments- his mother, Murrie, his daughters, Michelle and Angeline, and his loving partner, Lisa. Jeff was born on October 10th, 1961, in New Westminster, BC, and grew up in Sechelt. As an adult he moved to the mainland to attend the Forestry program at BCIT, and then lived in several different areas of BC before eventually settling in Mission to raise his family. Jeff had an extraordinary amount of passion in life, working many jobs and pursuing many hobbies throughout the years, and making an amazing variety of friends along the way. Some of his passions included skiing, scuba diving, and golfing, but everybody who knew Jeff well knew that his true love was music. He was an extraordinarily talented pianist, playing keyboards for several bands over the years and constantly bringing joy to his friends and family through his songs. The world will miss his music and his smile. Both are both gone from us far too soon, but will be cherished and remembered always.

A Funeral service for Jeff will be taking place at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church in Sechelt, BC on Friday, October 14th at 12pm. All family and friends are welcome to come and say their final goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Peace Arch Hospice Society.
