It is with great sadness that the family of Hubert James Shirley announces his sudden passing on Friday July 2, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 74. Forever remembered by his three children, Sammy, Patty & Andrew, and his granddaughter, Katerina. He was predeceased by his wife Isabel, who also passed away from cancer, on Nov 28, 2002. Born in Ocean Falls, BC on November 26, 1946, Hubert was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He will be wholeheartedly loved and missed forever!

I went to school with Huey and worked with him at Vancouver Sun Wholesale. We did a lot of partying in those days. We drifted apart and went our separate ways. He was always a fun loving guy, with a good sense of humor. Tried to touch base with him while he was in Langley but didn’t work out.
