Doug passed away peacefully at the age of 71 with God faithfully by his side on November 2nd, 2023, 2:30 PM at Melville Hospice in White Rock B.C. Born a Halloween baby on October 31st,1952 in Nelson B.C. Resided in White Rock B.C.

Predeceased by his father 'Aksel Henriksen' and his mother 'Leona Brown'. Doug is survived by his wife of 27 years, Carol Henriksen; their two sons, Michael Henriksen and Joshua Henriksen from White Rock; his daughter, Dena Henriksen from Calgary; and other family members and good friends.

Doug lived in Abbotsford, BC, for 17 years and recently moved back to White Rock. He was an electrician by trade and loved doing it. He had his own company "Enlightening Electric" where he enjoyed helping Kevin Dawe and Bill Walker learn the trade, then later went to work for his dear friend, Brent Murphy, at BPM Electric. His passion, pride, and joy was his 1950 Harley Davidson Panhead motorcycle. Rest in peace, love and miss you.
