Brian passed away unexpectedly at home (Surrey, BC) in the early morning of January 27th.

Lovingly missed by his high school sweetheart, married 55 years, Lilian (nee Sorensen).

Proud father to daughters Carly Biwer, Katherine King, and son Adam. Predeceased by infant daughter, Jessica (1981).

Brian welcomed and took pride in his sons-in-law Leo Biwer and Chris King who provided him with a joy he never could have imagined, his Grandsons.

James Grant, Lukas and Evan Biwer, and Ryker King all share in his outrageous sense of humour. They enjoyed crazy jokes and endless laughter together. Brian was one of "the guys," their biggest fan, he never let them go without a hug to show his love.

When he wasn't cheering the boys on from the stands, Brian spent his time planning adventures, travelling, and kayaking on the ocean all with his sweetheart by his side.

Brian's love of life included music, travel, and the ocean (to name a few), and of course his wife and family who he was devoted to;  he always expressed the joy and love he held for them.

Predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Ethel Henderson  and survived by siblings (and their families), Allen Henderson, Don Henderson, Kenneth Henderson, and Carolyn Rouleau.

We are grateful for our time together and all of the memories we made. Forever would never have been enough.

Always in our hearts.

Dear Lil and family,
It is with the deepest sadness that we have learned of the loss of Brian. We as both young couples met in 1973 and often gathered. We celebrated together the early years of our marriages. Brian had this smile and little giggle excited about everything life had brought. He was proud of his enrollment in school that carried him forward to a new lifelong career. And most importantly he so loved you Lil and the beginnings of his family.
In our sadness, we are moved by the legacy he leaves us with. He was a happy man who spread his joy and inspired the many who knew him. We will carry Brian in our hearts.

We send our deepest condolences to you, Carly, Katie and Adam in the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather.
We have fond memories of your visit here in Brooklin while you were on your cross-Canada road trip and reminiscing about growing up in South Windsor as high school sweethearts.
We are so sorry for your loss.

Brian.
What a good man! A great dad and an awesome grandpa!
I always loved seeing Brian and Lil looking so happy, sporty and fun at all the football games! and get togethers. You guys made the games fun 💕 and at Cultus Lake getting on the jet ski with grandsons operating.
What an inspiration to see your love and dedication for each other and all the boys.
Wishing all of Brian and Lil's family love, peace and joy while we all start to deal with his loss. Events just won't be the same without you ❤️

Dear Lillian and Family: I have so many good memories of Brian and I hanging out together as young people in the Church. Our families were really close for a lot of years and we made many wonderful memories together. We spent a lot of Christmases and New Year's together, went to Detroit on the bus with our Mom's to see the great displays in Hudson Bay. I know you are going to miss him a lot. We are so sorry for your loss. May God Comfort you and your family at this time. Love, Linda Boyle (Elzby)

We will always treasure our times together with Brian and you. Going back to our teenage years and the fun we had at Massey High School- to our double dating . Another great memory was the honour of standing up for you both at your wedding . There was always lots of visiting once we got into our beginner homes.
Unfortunately we did lose contact for years with moves across the country to different provinces. Our friendship was rekindled at a Massey reunion. We will always treasure our visits - ( playing Canasata and drinking good wine)
Our last trip together to Portugal was the best!
We will miss Brian so much .!
Sending our love and support to you Lil.❤️

When I read this today, I was totally stunned and shocked and very sad.
I had recently seen such a lovely photo of the two of you ♥️
My heart is heavy when I think of your pain and sadness and his loss will be greatly felt.
He will leave such a hole in your family I am sure.
I have lots of fond memories of Brian when we were neighbours for 4 years back in the day.
