In Loving Memory
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Boyd Allan Douglas Rowe, affectionately known to family and friends as "Al," on May 1, 2026, at the age of 57.
Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, on April 9, 1969, Al was a hardworking, kind-hearted man who left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A highly skilled carpenter by trade, Al took great pride in his work. He owned and operated his own framing company, Newfound Construction, for many years. After closing his business, he decided to hang up his tool belt and join Tybo, where he thoroughly enjoyed working alongside a team he respected and considered friends.
Outside of work, Al was happiest when he was outdoors with a fishing rod in hand. An avid fisherman, he spent countless hours trout fishing on many lakes, but Irish Lake held a special place in his heart. More than just a favorite fishing destination, Irish Lake became a second home where he built lifelong friendships and shared countless memories with people he cared deeply about. He also loved salmon fishing on the river with good friends, creating stories and memories that will be cherished forever.
Al enjoyed spending time with friends playing cornhole and golfing. He was truly a social butterfly who never met a stranger. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor drew people to him wherever he went. Al loved making people laugh, and his laughter was contagious. He had a remarkable ability to brighten any room and lift the spirits of those around him.
Al is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Rowe; his cherished children, Johnathon, Bradly and Jaynee Moisan; his sister and brother-in-law Lynn and Rick King; his nephews Matt and Mark King and many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Al was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. His memory will live on in the stories shared around campfires, on fishing boats, along riverbanks, and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. The family appreciates your patience during this difficult time and will share details in the coming months.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.

Al was truly an amazing man with a great sense of humour. I feel honoured that I got to have him in my life, even for a short time. The love he had for Deborah, John, Brad and Jaynee was so beautiful to witness!
I am so sorry for this huge loss!

Al was one of a kind! He was a great softball player, he was awesome at his job and always loved to go fishing! If it wasn't for Al I probably wouldn't of met my Husband Mark who was Al's Nephew! They were very close and made an awesome team at work as carpenters. He was the best great uncle to Ryker and Tori. I was so blessed to have him in my life and to become part of his family.
Al will forever be in our hearts, Always be loved and never forgotten.
Until we meet again! 💕💕
