Roberta Isabel Lagace (nee Campbell)
Jan 24, 1937 - Apr 7, 2021
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the quiet passing of Roberta (Bobbie) Lagace in her sleep on April 7, 2021.
Roberta was born in Lashburn, Sask on Jan 24, 1937. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She was predeceased by her parents Bill and Margaret, her daughter Julie in December 2019, and her siblings Ken, Lil, and Marlene.
She will be lovingly and deeply missed by daughters Catherine (Douglas) and Lori (Gerry), and son Brian (Karen), grandchildren Alicia and Jonathan, aunt Norma, and cousins Cheryl (Sam), Maureen, and Sharlene, who she was very close to, brother in-law Harry and family whose children and grandchildren she talked about often their many years together, as well as many long-time friends whom she stayed connected with since her school days. Olga and Louise were 2 of those friends. She always recalled our visit to Hawaii in 1979, our visit to Salmon Arm to see her friends, visits with Connie, and many phone calls to Lois in Summerland.
Roberta was talented and loved to sing. Her angelic voice was talked about by family and friends often. She worked for Kelowna Growers, now Sun Ripe for more than 20 years, retiring at 55. Kelowna was always in her memories. She is in heaven riding her bike, with a little dog in the basket, to the lake with her friend Sally I am sure.
May cherry blossoms and daffodils be there on every anniversary of her passing.
A small private family service will be held by daughter Lori at her home, April 17th, 2021 starting at noon. Due to Covid restrictions, it will be outdoors. Lori will message everyone with address and other info.
