It is with great sorrow to inform you that Michael Patrick Robert Soye (Mike) passed away on August 05, 2021 at the age of 63.

Michael is survived by his loving partner of 35 years John Kniewasser, his loving mother Jeannie Marie Prince (Vauclair) and sisters Rose, Judy (Paul), Cindy (Derrick), Renata (Frank) and brothers Johnny (Lisa),  James, Robert, Eddy and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Michael had many gifts and interests including dancing, sketching, painting, and sculpting in which his charismatic nature expressed his love and connection to humanity. 

Music became an enormous passion of his life. Michael joined a “4-9” piano class on the understanding that it was his age of 49 years at the time – the class was for 4 to 9 year olds! Michael became immersed in a wonderful world of children where his natural kindness was enjoyed by all. This included numerous musical recitals with him playing the piano at various venues and fund raisers with the children.

Michael was an exceptional human, his kindness, his humility, his smile was always freely given to all. Michael’s nurturing came to him naturally,  an extraordinary quality which was felt by all those that crossed his path in life.

Michael had a beautiful soul full of love that he instantly shared - he made the world a better place. Michael enjoyed living life to the fullest and we are privileged to have been the recipient of his good will. Michael has touched us all and has a very special place in our hearts where he will continue to live on.

We will miss him dearly.
