With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Katherine Ann McIlravey on August 1st, 2022 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a tragic accident.

 Born April 26th, 1972, Katherine just celebrated her 50th birthday. Born to parents Arlene McIlravey (nee Palmer) and James Stokoe, Katherine was a shining star in each and every life she touched day in and day out. Her love for helping people pushed her through. Being an excellent ER nurse for 18 years, she eventually transitioned to “Nursing The Drunks”, as General Manager/Operator of Sitara / Shannon Lake Liquor; a place where thousands of customers adored her contagious energy.

 Katherine was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and best friend. She was affectionately known as "Kat" to her massive circle of close friends. She is survived by her loving son Jacob McIlravey (Nicole Lang), Mother Arlene McIlravey, Sisters Dawn McIlravey-Shirton (Rob) and Susan Raith (Glenn), many amazing nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her big sister Shelly, and her father James. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, stunning blue eyes, and her selfless attitude, always giving love to those around her.

Join us for our Ontario Celebration of life for my beloved mother, Katherine McIlravey. It will be held at the Optimist Lion's club on Linwell Road in St. Catharines (188 Linwell Rd, St Catharines, ON)
There will be food, drinks, beer, and wine, accompanied by a few hours with friends and family.
