Basic Cremation Services are end-of-life services offered by funeral homes and crematoriums that are geared towards keeping cremation services as simple and affordable as possible. This is accomplished by focusing only on the basics for those that want it but with some flexibility to add additional services if desired.

At Only Cremations our basic cremation package consists of a phone interview with a licensed funeral director, the transportation of the deceased into our care, the registration of death, a simple cremation tray, the fee for the cremation, and a temporary urn for the ashes.

What are the benefits of Basic Cremation Services

As mentioned previously, Basic Cremation Services provides only what is needed for a cremation to occur. The advantage to this simplicity is that it greatly reduces the number of decisions that need to be made following a death. Basic Cremations include no ceremonies or viewings as part of the basic service. The deceased is simply transported from the place of death to the sheltering facility and then cremated.

This protects the family from having to make too many decisions so soon after death. Rather, the cremation is dealt with quickly, and the decisions about a memorial service are left for later after the family has had time to grieve properly.

What if I want more?

There are a wide variety of options available for those who want more than just our basic services. Services like visitation and a witness cremation can all be added to our basic service. We also offer a wide range of caskets and urns in case you want more than the basic cremation tray and temporary urn.
